Ellie Jordan, a certified Holistic Women's Health and Wellbeing Coach, founded Ellie Jordan Coaching in 2021. She offers businesses a holistic approach to growth and wellbeing through educational talks and workshops, integrating her passions for women's hormone health, wellbeing, and holistic self-care. Ellie aims to liberate and empower the female workforce, preparing future female leaders for personal and professional success. Her heartfelt mission is to inspire women to harness the superpowers of their menstrual cycles, enabling them to live harmoniously with their bodies through key hormonal life stages and thrive.
In 2024, Ellie expanded her wellness practice to include yoga. Her journey with yoga began during the global pandemic, initially to support her strength, HIIT, and cardio workouts at home. She quickly discovered that yoga offered much more. Embracing its gentle and mindful approach to movement, Ellie found relief from PCOS symptoms, realising that her previous intense workouts had aggravated them. Yoga became a cherished daily ritual, providing physical benefits, balance, and calm during challenging times.
Ellie completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance International-certified teaching diploma in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga in July 2024 with Jessica Stewart at State Yoga in Highgate, marking the inception of Ellie Jordan Yoga. Her teaching blends yoga's ancient wisdom and philosophy with her passions for women's hormone health, wellbeing, and holistic self-care, offering a whole-body experience that supports her students on and off the mat.
At the heart of Ellie's practice lies the Sanskrit concept of ‘Seva’ (सेवा) meaning dedication to others. It reflects her belief in the power of selfless service, offering oneself to a cause with heart, presence, and devotion, which deeply influences her teaching philosophy. Seva is not merely a principle but a guiding force that shapes the environment she cultivates in her classes. Through her classes, Ellie embodies Seva by generously offering her energy and expertise without expectation, ensuring that each participant feels valued and supported on their journey toward holistic wellbeing. Ellie strives to foster a supportive atmosphere where students can enhance their yoga practice while cultivating compassion, kindness, and a profound sense of connection to self, and with others.
